PAIN

PAIN

Another great download for the PS3 cost a few quid. But be careful it may only be 200mb of a download but you will suffer the humiliation when the system updates begin – around 2gb! Ho ho ho.

Once you’ve got it installed, go download ‘The Hoff’ and the fun with explosives pack. Then load up the game and say good bye to your day/ week/ month. There’s plenty more to download, but I’m cheap and demand value for nothing.

The objective is simple, you have a city, a giant catapult and The Hoff and you have to cause as much damage as possible to the himself and the city. You can download extra maps, unlock stuff etc… but really its all about the pain. I won’t  bother explaining the intricacies of the game because quite frankly there’s no point, just go download the game and enjoy.

I love this game, its cheap and the gameplay is considerably better than half the over priced shit you get out there, why bother paying £40-50 for mediocrity when you can pay £5 for a game that is a lot more fun and better yet has a decent multiplayer angle too – both online and offline.

I did see there were alot of whiney pussies out in the interweb land that couldn’t handle the points/ trophy system in Pain, claiming that the game is buggy because they played for x number of hours and couldn’t unlock stuff, but then 95% of them are fucktards and can barely read or write judging by their youtube comments so they probably have no idea what they’re doing on a day to day basis anyway.

The only thing that lets Pain down is the lack of free shit – it’s typical of Sony to put a price tag on everything when it would be better just to charge for an expansion pack or something. Also more user created content would be a bonus too. But generally for a few quid you can’t go wrong, best played with friends and beers. Don’t play the game by yourself otherwise you will lose all of your life.

Finally my other recommendation of this game is the educational value – I have never seen so many phrases and descriptions before for getting hit in the bollocks!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a Hoff to slap around.
